Bit of a problem...
« on: 27 May 2009, 15:26 »
I've just fitted my new dump valve and seem to have pulled out some wires quite close to one of the hoses. The wires were attached to some sort of plug and I can't find a way to reconnect them. I just wondered if its ok to drive like this to a garage or whether I'd be silly to even turn the engine on.

I have pictures but not sure how to upload them.

Cheers

Gareth

then copy and paste the 4th line under the pic into the thread

by the sounds of it you've pulled the wires out to your boost control soleniods - i wouldn't drive it if i were you

to me that looks like your N75 valve which controls your turbo

i'm sure the petrol boys will be along to confirm

I've had a quick look at the part no 037906240 and reckon i need a new connector, something like this?

http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/injectors/connectors/index.html

I could be completely wrong but it just looks like a standard connector although the one I've taken off is a sealed unit and so impossible to rewire. Could just be a case of buying a new connector and wiring it up??
