Can't believe you went to the police! fair play but I'd be happy with the set up you have there it looks great! The tread is inside the arch so put them back on and show those bad boys off!

cheers man  :smug: i'll be puttin them back on for sunday. front arches need rolling tho so i can drop it abit more

I can't believe that this issue has been discussed for years with thousands of pages of deliberation...and it's been resolved in one direct approach.  I think if you were to scan any police confirmation of what they said and start up a new thread regarding it the link would be viewed and the confirmation downloaded a million times.

Still doesn't make it concrete. Fair enough around his area he can wave the magic piece of paper to any arsey copper showing that their 'boss' says it's okay (and then probably get nicked for some other minor offence), but it'd get laughed at anywhere else in the country.

Amazing the lengths some people will go to to make their car look stupid and drive like a pile of sh!te but good luck getting a written confirmation from the police, that I would PAY to see! And the look on the first pig to pull you's face when you pulled your get out of jail card!
