I've spent about £2k on my car, so its only worth £100 then I guess I best start taking offers then, £110 anyone?








 

As already said, check out the shell/chassis/engine. £40k of receipts could attribute to a fairly large crash repair bill - it is technically worthless (unless the parts are still guaranteed).

So your taking a mk2 in px for your mk4? If so then i'd undervalue the mk2 

Ive noticed people being more nit picky when they viewed the mk2's. They were more interested in service history. When it comes to cars like these service is just a bonus in my books. Get the paint right then its worth alot more.
