ok mate ta, gonna hold fire for a bit when i get some solid confirmation of what boxes do and dont fit, im desperate to get her rolling again :(

If they say it fits, It usally does chap.The guys on here will steer you right every time

you do know the 16v box is the same...and much easier to get

no it is not the VR gearbox has a different shaped bellhousing like I just said.  MK3 16v box is same shape as G60, Corrado non-VR and Passat non-VR
