Nice cars - prefer the dub tbh. I work for BMW and get to drive the latest and greatest on a regular basis. Must say that BMW`s cannot be faulted really, plenty fast, beautiful steering and no doubt about the quality!

Cant faulty the diesels either - took a 325d auto out for a spin today and I have to say it was a great car.

Having said all that Id keep my old 16v Mk2 any day of the week. BM`s are 2 a penny now and a bit too `clinical` for my liking! No character whatsoever

An alternative view but hey thought Id drop my 2 cents in

Enjoy the motor!

I had a MK 2 Pirelli eddition back in (I can't remember the year) B Reg days. One of the best cars I have had the pleasure of owning!

Nice looking car mate. Don't know what it is, but the E90 just isn't the same drive as the E46. More accomplished. Yes. But doesn't have the WOW factor of the E46. After i sold my 330d coupe (e46) i took the 335d coupe for a spin (had it for 3 days!)  stupendous ability for a diesel, but it just seemed too grown up. The saloon, somehow, feels different. I'm looking to get back to a BMW next year - that's if I'm not swayed by the new GTI. The new 330d has c250bhp - does 48.9mpg and can hit 60 on 5.9 seconds. Astonishing.
