Ok so went to have a look earlier, wasnt too bad. Body work was pretty good for the year. The cold running problem he was talking about seemed to be non existent!! but he seemed to think there was something wrong so I wasn't going to disagree  He reckoned it hesitated when taking it over 5 grand when cold. All I could really think was why the hell would you want to take it over 5 grand when its cold!!! 

Only thing was on the test drive, it didn't seem to pull much harder than my 8v GTi.

No, I would something is amiss, VR should pull harder.

seemed a nice car apart from that, especially for the year. No rust to speak of what so ever.
