My friend has had these in his 306 for a couple of years, wired to HU power they haven't let him down:

If you can stretch the extra £10:

Shame you're limited as I've got Infinity Kappa components and they are superb :)

shady hit it before me. alpine type e's are good budget speakers.

although i can say this for experience. when it comes to audio, if you love music, then always buy the best (within reason). cause you'll just spend more money upgrading in a few months!

alpine type r all round. unless i can pick up some type x stuff.

LL ;)

thanks guys. i dont normally limit myself, but ive come to the realisation i need to start limiting myself else i wont be able to afford bills and the like

im just thinking £50 because thats how much i happen to have in my paypal at the minute..

infinity's would be the ultimate haha, but im essentially looking at an all round peformer for the money, an upgrade on the current speakers and something which isnt crap enough to make me want to upgrade soon. tall order, i know

LL, I have Infinity Comps and an Infinity sub, yet I have a 4 channel JBL amp lol! Mind you, I plan on getting a 6 channel amp, Infintiy hopefully to upgrade the power everything is getting, will be really loud and sweet then.

As LL said, you shouldn't really limit yourself, I found this out when I bought my amp, lol! It's good for the money but could be better.

my m8 had some infinity stuff, but he found the type r's better. guess the only way to find out is to try both yourself, but that may prove costly!

Got a set of infinity reference comps brand new in box for £30 from Halfords but went in another and they were priced up at £60 try and get them to check price and you could have a chaep set of speakers.
