Yes i understand that. The car was manufactured in 2008 and the VIN number indicates this as well (thanks no golf clubs btw)
Not necessarily, the 10th digit of the VIN only indicates the 'model year'. It has bu&&er all to do with when the car was actually built, nor when it was PDId, nor when it was registered.
So,
IF your car has an 8 as the VIN 10th digit, then it could have left the factory gates as early as June 2007. If that is the case, then it has probably been sitting at Grimsby docks for the best part of a year, soaking up all that salt spray.
