head unit problem
« on: 15 February 2009, 11:01 »
ive just bought a sony cdx-gt630ui head unit and fitted it myself. the only problem is everytime i take the key out of the ignition the memory is lost on the radio and all the settings i change. noticed that there is a two pin plug that went into the cd player of the old double din gamma system but no place to plug it in on the sony head unit. is this the problem or have i overlooked somthing.

any advice welcome

the wires should pull apart in like a bullet style connector and just swap them there

Yup two minute jod swap the yellow and red wire around. So you have red going into yellow and yellow in to red. Then it will keep its memory
