If I EVER trade in to MP I shall remove my spare wheel and sell it on the bay or offer it to someone here.  In its place I shall stick a can of that crappy gunk, dont think they can say a thing about it really, its legal and they actually sell new cars with no spare.....BEND over and take it all the way.....

If a car doesnt have runflats or some kind of puncture repair thing with it....is it LEGAL for MP to sell cars with no spare? I thought it a legal requirement? I may be wrong....of course

My RS4 is full proper UK spec car, and it does not have runflats, and only comes with a bottle of goo and a leccy pump!

Perhaps you'd like to give me a clue where I can store a spare, even a pram wheel space saver?

just throw it on the back seats?

On a serious note, when ordering the car could you have asked for a spare wheel instead of the can of goo? Also do you feel the goo is a safe alternative to a spare wheel?

For the GTI, you can specify either a space saver or a "Tyre Mobility System" (can of goo and pump! ).  For the RS4, you don't get a choice - can you see the size of the battery in my spare wheel well?  It is a 110Ah / 850A monster!
