Golf mk8 / Drivers seat

Had my 8.5 GTi a good few weeks now, and I am constantly adjusting the drivers seat. I feel like every time I get in I’m further away fro the wheel, so I feel like I’m forever adjusting and it’s not comfortable at all.
Spoke to to dealer today, they can’t help me at all until August. 4 months!!!! But, it was almost like they knew it was an issue.

I’ve since found a bit on FB about people asking the same thing, anyone here at that issue?

Hi,
Last week I put up a post about my boot sub, this one;

I didn’t get any answers so thought I’d add it here to catch any owners who can help.

Best I can tell, the sub I have is that same one in all other VAG group cars, it doesn’t seem to be a HK one. Is that correct? Doesn’t the HK upgrade get you a upgraded sub?

Can anyone with a 2024/24 Golf GTI with the HK upgrade have a look at what they have please?

I’d always ask for the protective wrapping to be removed - the dealer can’t inspect the car for damage as part of the PDI if the wrapping’s left on.

Cars can - and do - get damaged in transit from the factory to the dealership; if you ask the dealer to leave the wrapping on and you discover damage when you - or a detailer - remove it (the wrapping) after you’ve left the dealership, you’ll be on your own to get the damage fixed at your expense.

Golf mk7 / New MK7 owner - Oil leak, help?

Hi guys,

Had many a MK5 in my life but recently bought a 2014 MK7 and have to say I am absolutely loving it! However, this morning when I got up to go to work I noticed what looked like a bit of oil on the floor where I had been parked, specifically near the drivers side tyre. I haven't had chance to look at it properly yet or get underneath it, but is there anything 'common' that I should look out for here? Anything on that side of the engine etc that could have caused it?

I have checked the levels manually and it was all good so if it is a leak it's likely to be small.

I don’t know why there needed as the tyres don’t stick out past the arch on our golf r with 19 on they are only stuck on but left them there
