Do you have access to an OBD dongle?

This way you can switch it off or more precisely switch it to remember your last setting which would be OFF.
Every time the car starts then it starts in the off position.

The ED50 will only be 1000 in the uk it’s 100% a limited car

When i got my car (8.5 gti) the stop/start was in the favourites on the top line, so can very conveniently switch it off quickly as soon as i start the car.
How do you get the lane assist in to the favourites on the top line so that can be switched off in the same way?

Golf mk7 / Seized rear caliper

I’ve been away for a few days and I set off this morning to get my wheels refurbished. I didn’t get far. My left rear caliper is seized on. What generally causes this? A seized caliper piston?

I’ve ordered a VD500 scanner to retract the EPB and I’ll have a look. Possibly a good clean and new pads and maybe discs. Are the calipers themselves likely to need replacing?

I start this thread and then get a flat tyre. The TCR sensed me looking at getting an ED50  :grin:

Bosch have an excellent brand, and 'share' production with other battery companies including Varta and Exide.
