please note i'm not trying to advertise or sell anything! we're just mighty proud of the results and thought you guys would like to know :)

Since this is a gti forum, did you forget to add that the S3 starts off with more out of the box power than the ED30?
-
same block, same injectors, same c/r...same engine bar tuning, seeing the same results from cupra's too ;)
-
Impressive, although those losses to the wheels seem absolutely massive.
256hp at the wheels to a 359.7bhp at the crank works out at a staggering 29% loss.
Headline figures are the ones which everyone will notice though
Good to see the Autotech fuel pump produces the goods too.
-
Good results there carl, well done to you and revo

Blimey. My K03 GTI puts down 242BHP at the wheels with APR stage 2. Thats a massive loss as Hurdy has already said.
Edit. Should add that power to the wheels is all people should look at. Power at the fly is just for bragging rights.
-
Some impressive figures there. Are you expecting similar power out a stage2+ ED30?
-
i better order a fuel pump

i better order a fuel pump

New thread alert.....new thread alert!!!!
Give us details
-
Yeah illyun, more details please!!!
Didn't even realise you had mods, thought it was standard still?
-
yes we're hoping for the same results from the ED30's :)
as for drivetrain losses it is a stock quattro and is right for s3 losses!
-
Drivetrain loss will not be as much on the 2wd chassis but traction will be more of a problem.
-
yup the s3 is manic from the off and all the way up to silly speeds!
the FWD cars will break traction(without a diff) in 1st 2nd and sometimes 3rd but once they're going it's simply jaw dropping!

LOL Red..
Must admit I have been tempted a few times with the Autotech pump (seeing as I read you can get it all in for just over £300..
But think i'm going to hold off, as just don't want to push the DSG box any further. Think 364lb/ft is enough as it is
