afaik the uprated HPFP and DV are optional for stage 2.

IMO go for the uprated DV in the first instance if your budget allows it.

Just thinking the engine might want moor fuel, going from 230 hp to 320 hp.

DV - yes definitely recommended. Had mine installed today and the quality is second to none.

HPFP - Optional on Stage 2, but I know from Revo on a normal GTI that you can't run as much boost if you don't upgrade the fuel pump, as the engine cuts the fuel because the standard pump cannot cope with the increased stress. (This applies to Stage 2 Revo software, and may not apply to the ED30, or the APR Software. Research this on your own to confirm).

Extensive option though  :undecided:

Get the pump, the midrange boost is brilliant, my ED30 was running nearly 350ft/lbs of torque, I liked it

It would be like trying to drink from a cup through a straw and then being asked to empty a bucket with the same straw - in the same time

Sorry - only analogy I could think of :embarassed:

Bloody heel you don't mess around! You have only had the car for two minutes!  Your injectors wont need changing, Hurdy experimented with this and it was found to make no difference.

Yup, JBS tried uprated fuel injectors in mine whilst I was having the Stage 2+. They said that there is no point as the turbo gets maxxed out before the injectors need uprating. Ergo, you only need uprated injectors if you are going to go for a turbo upgrade = stage 3. :nerd:

I doubt it. 330+bhp through the front wheels is enough for me. Starting to have thoughts of swapping from a GT-R to a GTI-R.....
