did you have lowering springs on to begin with??  :undecided:

don't forget your car is lower than standard anyway so you may only see a 15-20mm drop

have you made sure the springs are correctly seated in the strut ( i.e spring in it's cup) you should see a difference straight off but wont see full drop until settled. also are the strut's fully in the hubs so that the hook for the pinch bolt is correctly located?

You could see it a bit lower, than after few hundred miles was lots better. The garage evan said after i took it back few weeks later that it was lower.

I still think mines only gone down by about 20mm tho.

It'd be nice having them adjustable so you can set it up how you want.  Surely coiovers down 30 30mm and shocks and springs down 30mm isn't going to have that much difference?

there 18"s m8

It's weird how some cars have the exact same set up, ie 30mm drop and 18" rims, and yet some cars look lower than others. Have you gone for just springs, or springs & shocks?

Quote
also i have been chatting to a m8 of mine he has a account with eibach and is goin to find out prices ect so i may be able to supply some cheap kits if any 1 intrested ?

Definately mate!!! Drop me a PM.

right first prices seem reasonable but trying to sqeeze a little more
eibach
pro kit springs only £105.00 plus p&p
pro kit complete kit £380.00 plus p&p
front and rear arb kit £220.00 plus P&P

they are a quick price but we trying to get a better price for a job lot so they just deliver a big pallet of goodies

let me know if that is any good so i can get back to them

Can you get just the REAR ARB on its own?
Title: Re: wat a waste of fcing time now sorted (now with pics)
Post by: Rhyso on 05 September 2008, 14:03
Can you get just the REAR ARB on its own?

never know Eibach to sell them seperately  they do the front but not the rear

other option is to find someone who wants the front one and go halves  - i've been thinking about the front; what size is the standard one?  :undecided:

nope  just wondering if its actually worth upgrading the front ARB  :undecided:

might just adjust the rear and see what happens then, though the other day i did get the backend out nicely on a roundabout

thought that could be the case as if you increase the thickness of the anti-roll bar you will end up inducing MORE understeer which is what you actually want to get rid of  :nerd:

get a rear anti-roll bar and go play on roundabouts
