Title: GTI Footrest fitted

I also got round to fiting it today :

Used the bolts supplied - just have to drill three small holes using a 5mm drill bit :cool:

For the red i used some foam which comes with glass when im fitting double glazed units, Thay stop the glass from getting scratched and come in a few colours :grin:

Used gray tape for the GT part :laugh:

lol @ wet weather :grin: Yeah i did think about plastic - i shall see how mine wears - only a 2min job to change if needs be :cool:

welldone to royal mail :angry: again my stuff got delivered to a house 3 streets away from me only that it got delivered to the persons dad i live nxt door to i wud of never see my stuff how lucky was that.

Thanks mate - very lucky cant have any other mk4's with these footrests :grin:

grey gaffer tape under the gt and then blue electrical tape under the i then tape them to the back of it if that makes sense haha

Post by: the_stink on 23 August 2008, 14:30: well the tube says 24 hours for it to set, but caked it on held it down for about a min and left it to dry, with the foot rest jus waiting for it to dry now so i guess we will see :tongue:

Any GTI with a re-map is faster than most GTI's :)

Thanks :grin: tooka while to find some nice red plastic to back the sills, the foot rest was a bit tricky but worth it glad you like it :wink:
