so i was talking bout this in another thread
and everyone aid i hould get the 256mm rear dics like the r32
do i need anything else apart from the 256mm discs or will i need everything like i did when i did the 312mm fronts???
-
the 256 mm rears are a totally different calliper to the existing one, so you'll need the caliper / carrier, discs, pads you'll need a bigger splash guard too
-
Calipers, carriers, splash guards, discs and pads
Get them brand new at stoopid money or get them from the following cars
MK1 Leon Cupra
MK1 Octavia VRS
MKIV Anniversary
you can use the ones from the R32 and TT but you'll then need spacers
EDIT - Ridge beat me to it

lol you're getting slow old man
as Rhyso said best bet is from a breakers, although the discs, pads and splash guards can be picked up cheaply new

Expensive for a mod that makes practically feck all difference to braking performance.

they do fill the rims a little bit better though

thats why i did it too - was cheaper to get a 2nd hand setup than buy new discs and pads
