New to golfs. been searching for my first mk2.

what does rabbit mean?

It is what the Golf was called in the US (and maybe elsewhere) but for some reason every dumb f**k on ebay has taken to calling their golf a rabbit!  :rolleyes:

It really is an astonishingly crap name to give a car..... from about the same time they thought Vanagon was better than Caravelle or Transporter.  Or how about the Audi Quantum 5000?

I dunno, they screwed the economy which has lowered interest rates here which makes my mortgage less money!!

I always wondered about the rabbit thing as well, glad to have found out  :smiley:
