I like it..
A question about your 100 cell cat, I thought 100 cell cats would not work on cars with OBD2, does your emissions light stay on?

That thing is huge. Tell me....
What effect does a larger intercooler have on a car? Just help with cooling?

Air coming from the turbo is hot due to compression and the mechanics of the turbo. An intercooler cools this air before it goes into the cylinders. Because cold air is denser than hot air you can squeeze more into the cylinder thus allowing the engine to perform more efficently. Or something like that.

....Very much "something like that"
You'll notice how much faster the stock GTI feels when the weather (and air) is cooler - All for the same reasons.

This is why some times 0-60 timings and top speed clocking is done in the early hours of the morning

I think your car will be slower with that thing fitted - must weigh a ton!

Looks very nice Wolfbane,330 bhp with all that snow and ice coming your and Pesarik's way, that intercooler and cold conditions might freeze ya Turbo!!
Happy sliding scandi boys

dont want to be a kill joy but the intercooler from radtec for the focus ST is even bigger than this one, anysize intercooler will not give you 1bhp extra, just help keep temps down, in not so sunny england a 3inch downpipe will give a real power gain forget a catback (sounds better) but does nothing or a 100cell sportcat which keeps your dashboard iluminated. ED30 ecu upgrade 3" turbo downpipe is the way to go.

remap, full exhaust and intercooler is the only way to get 330hp on this ed 30 machine. It doesent have to be in the tropics to get use for the intercooler, its a must to get the inlet turbo temp down when you push the turbo pressure up.Also very important is a new exhaust all the way from turbo,i have 3 inch all the way on my machine with 100cell sportcat and it doesent give me any lights on the dashboard! So it doesent matter if you live in England or any place in Scandinavia to get use for the intercooler. This Oettinger intercooler gives 10-15hp extra because you can remap it harder.Oettinger have tested this intercooler and its good for over 350hp,but i can tell you guys that 330hp is good enough. My car handels the hp very good must i say,no torque steer just some wheels spin in 2,3,4th gear .The car is just amazing to drive
And i live by the see in Gothenburg here in Sweden and we dont have so much snow, just rain and rain here
Oettinger is the way to go

Oettinger makes 330hp conversion with cat-back, not full exhaust.

And my intercooler is 600mmx440mm, Radtec is only 380mmx550mm!!

I have enough exhaust sound from stock exhaust. It barks when I step on the gas, ând other times it is quiet, that's good for me.
