Looks good dude!

I think most people on here would recommend the kiwi shoe polish route for black plastics - not tried it myself but I've heard good things.

For the tyres - I use Meguiars tyre dressing - works a treat and get a deep black / wet look that lasts. Just needs to be sprayed on.

kewl thanks for the suggestions :)

I must say I'm very impressed with the Dodo Juice, very easy to apply and buff off by hand...wasn't cheap tho, but seems worth it at £2-ish per application.

Best thing for your plastics and rubber is Black Boot Polish. Reasons for this are ...

1 - Most Back to Black / Tyre Shine products are silicon based, They leave a residue (the shine) which attracts dust.

2 - Boot polish had dye in it, so it will cover up any 'fade' in your plastics.

3 - Boot polish is wax based, so even if you do get some dust settling on it the next time you drive in the rain or hose the car down the dust will run off with the water.

Tried boot polish, and the stuff in the bottle, also tried a blowtorch. Nothing gets a good a result IMO as masking off the bumpers and using acryllic bumper paint. It's nice and matt and it lasts forever. It's also a very good match to original stuff - bought some genuine g60 arches and where they meet the painted sills you can barely tell the difference.

deffo... they hold contaminates within and not on the surface reducing the possibility of swirl/scratches

also two bucket method is a must

Nah, found it by the cans of spray paint in the motor factors.

Never once been pulled or fined. But that's probably cause they're irish plates and I'm in Ireland.
