No your right, it was already built and the dealer was awaiting delivery. I was quoted 1-2 weeks, but in the end it took just over 3.

CREEPY, luscious looking car  :drool:I have always loved that colour :tongue:, makes your car look top banana mate, have fun amigo as we all do in our new cars.

nice choice creepy, blue is mint!!, why didnt they come out with blue for edition 30????? instead of the basic colours like they have??, hope you enjoy it my friend :wink:

Agree Phil, some individual colours for the ED30 should be a choice IMO, just to set it apart from the rest, ever the salesman I dealt with said he didn't think VW had done enough for the ED30

ive had the same recently creepy, i went in there and this is the gods honest truth, about trading my GTi in for an edition 30 and both salesmen that id both dealt with in the past said that my GTi in the blue with the spec looks much nicer and id be wasting my money just to have the "ED 30"
I think the cars are too simular tbh, body coloured extras are too some peeps tastes and some reckon the standard GTi looks nicer with it extras on.
tis a shame they really didn't do more to it to make it worthwhile the extra expense,
But also getting hold of an ed 30 is not a problem as vw have about 25 cars in the uk looking for homes still either throw backs,demo's or fallen through deals

Those blue R32s really do look the muts nuts - great car (ps, don't go tinkering with the lights  :wink:  :evil:)
