Title: Is this too good to be true?

Post by: spider62 on 29 September 2019, 21:13: These units do exactly what they say, you can read and clear fault codes. There is no ability to re program or change coding so depending on what you want to do it will work perfectly for diagnostics.

A while back, a well meaning family member gave me a similar gadget, made by Autel and it is just about as useless.
If you wanted a decent one, maybe you could try Ross-tech and see what they have to offer.

bit of a difference between a generic code reader and a full Vcds kit. OBD11 is worth a look and cheaper than vcds for a home user.
