So then. You lot are far more knowledgeable than me. What is this? Is it too good to be true???

These units do exactly what they say, you can read and clear fault codes. There is no ability to re program or change coding so depending on what you want to do it will work perfectly for diagnostics.

I saw that yesterday too!

Not available until next Sunday though.

A while back, a well meaning family member gave me a similar gadget, made by Autel and it is just about as useless.
If you wanted a decent one, maybe you could try Ross-tech and see what they have to offer.

bit of a difference between a generic code reader and a full Vcds kit. OBD11 is worth a look and cheaper than vcds for a home user.
