I know a few of us got involved in this issue, and I was especially pleased with the coverage of mine so thought I would show the pictures that were taken...

this is a fantastic magazine as well I must say. I spent most of my sunday afternoon reading it from cover to cover. as I've said before, I never really bother with magazines with the wealth of info available over the net. but this magazine gives something a little extra and I found it really informative. I would urge people to make a point of purchasing this month for the GTi special issue, especially with it being GTi International shortly.
Magazine can be purchased digitally from Wednesday this week here: http://www.volkswagendrivermag.co.uk/

Nice pics at Haigh Hall I assume.
-
Very nice, but surely the best car is on page 41?
-
Great pics. Candy White looks so good and agree totally with the colour coded lip.
I am confused though, was the car was alreay remapped to 270bhp when you bought it ?
Did you not think it was a bit quicker than it should be ?

thanks mate. yeah pics were at haigh hall. it was a last minute decision as we were struggling for ideas on a location. to be honest, I think the pics would have been great anywhere considering the weather on the day.

no had no idea about the map. even when I was asked before it went on the rollers I advised it was a stock engine. as said in the feature, I'd been driving a 130bhp TDi for the previous 4 years so the increase in power felt great but I wasn't really able to gauge it against a stock mk6 as it was the only 1 I had test driven.
