purely looking at the recess i would say its meant to be there,i cant see that shape being even possible to be worn, not with the straight lines to it bud

ive stripped an old k03s apart before and it werent that worn
i know which bit you`re on about too, you should have felt about 1.5mm in and out play with that much wear!  you`d be better off getting a 360* bearing too.. not essential though

i`m sure the 360* bearings dont have the star in the middle, it is all bearing material all the way around rather than the missing bits/grooves hence 360*.

the difference between those two is not the gap at the bottom, it`s the hole in the middle.
the bearing material is what the washer on the shaft rubs against, the more material there, the less it`ll wear. take a look at the 270* bearing, there is about 90* missing from the material in the middle, whereas the one on the left doesnt have any missing from the middle (apart from the hole the shaft goes through).
compare those with the bearing you have. (not sure what degree you`d call that but it`s not full 360*).
