It was working fine even after headunit bud. And iv tried two laptops new and old vagcom versions too. Only thing can be is the cable or i dont know engine managment light is related to ir :undecided:

Car was scanned just two weeks ago.  I dont know i should drive it now or what. Iv ordered hand held code reader.

If it's driving fine I then it will be ok. If the car thinks its a serious fault it will limit your power to protect itself.

Iv not gne over 2k revs so dunno about power loss lol im going to pop down to midland vw tomorow and get it checked out.

Just going to nurse it there and keep it slow. I need vagcom cable asap. I think its defo the cable as iv tried another laptop and still same error on controller. Just my luck for my cable to get fooked when i need it

Hope nothing £££ was saving up for some treats for it too ..bloodys cars lol

its probably nothing to worry about, its only a light at the end of the day.
its either something or nothing, untill you plug it in you wont know..
hope its nothing serious, but like i said, it could be something as small like a code that doesn`t come back once deleted..

Went over to chris. And got it scanned poped up as fuel running lean or something. Light  has not returned.

It could be related to my throttle body which is playing up. I cleand it while still on the car. Feels a lot better now to drive. Butover the weekend when vagcom is back on i will clean it properly and realign with vagcom

Funny you say that. Because there was some confusion over it. Have googled around and few people have said it settled itself after 20-30 miles  like agu's..and some say u must use vagcom. Ill do it when vagcom is to hand just incase.

Yh just the cable. The software is free from rosstech and enough to scan ,clear fault codes and tb align etc.
