If coilovers then its down to you how low you go. Screw them up or down till your happy.

Bear in mind that you'll run into arb issues when you get to about 50mm.

How much you looking for the coilovers ?

Depends how they look when I take them off, probs around the £90 mark. I have the box and receipt so they'll still be under warranty until next february.

Like I said though wont be until a few weeks cus I'm living in leeds atm so will be taking them off when i help my parents move.

Only removing as I am returning to standard to sell, if i have time to remove the front tt arb i'll be selling that too so no rubbing issues. If you sort some in the mean time no worries, just giving a heads up

here's my set up on monza's to give you an idea on looks if you do go the coilover route, i rub on full lock, no spacers, but i am very low. Depends on how you set up

In my opinion, no 17/18" wheels look good on a standard height MK4.

Not sure probably 60-70mm I haven't measured it though tbh it was done the old fashioned way by sticking a finger width between the wheel and arch  however it has settled since then

Is the rubbing an issue then anything you can get to stop that , would you say coilovers are the best option ?

Running on driveshaft issues are cured with a tt or r32 front arb, on the arches depends on height of car and wheel set up.

The best option depends on what you wants. You can go lower on coilovers but they are harsher than springs and shocks. I'm fine with the ride, the gf hates it
