-
Refills for life
-
Its a bargain  "refilled at no extra charge for life"
-
Price is correct, and I've used some about 10 years ago on a black Maserati, best bit is that you can put it on with your hands if you want!!
Thom
-
They are refilled but you still pay for postage!
-
for that much id want a free car to put it on . have you seen the reviews . they all drive ferrari s and veyrons . bet its like me buying some tesco triple wax . its just peanuts to a veyron driver . still ridiculous
-
Why bother?
Paint fades then get a respray
-
That's epic, but I wonder if the people that have that kinda money to spend on a wax even clean their own cars?
-
lol . thats just ignorant . children dying all over the world and there paying that for some polish . that would feed hundreds of kids
-
I love the fact someone has applied this to a mk3!
"i applied this to my 1993 golf and was amazed at the results.Top product."

For the price of that wax you could get 6 or 7 decent resprays every couple of years and have a deep gloss shine that way

I know I'm stating the obvious, but the wax is intended for paintwork that is in a completely different league, to what you'd even find on the best cars at most shows, it works especially well on non lacquered finishes, which is the best way to paint a straight colour

Could i use that for my hair? As my gel tends to flake by the end of the day. So as this is costing 8k i think this should last a good few days with my hair beading when i get out of the shower? Please recommend

Don't know Thom there's extravagance and there's being a cock way to spend your money.
If your business was car waxing and polishing it would make sense?
-
One of the comments was that it worked great on their 1993 golf...

Its horses for courses Jay, this product wouldn't be, or is unlikely to be used on a footballers Ferrari, or Range Rover, but is more likely to be used on a 200k restoration of something like a 250 GTO... think Pebble Beach type cars, where using the cheap stuff stands out like a sore thumb, you really have to use it on that level of car, to appreciate the difference...

I appreciate sentiment, but the flip side these GTO's and the like, never see tarmac or day light where they shine more on open roads. So that said just because its got a high price tag doesn't mean there isn't a cheaper alternative just as good stuff off the shelf. I don't know? If it was just that elitist could only buy it and Joe blogs shouldn't be able to buy it? But its just buffering on price?
Don't get me wrong its good wax for sure, but its like carton wines and bottle wines, once the bottles run out I just fill them up with cartons from the tap and know one knows the difference. Connoisseur or extravagance?
What I want to know is pros who clean cars at 1K and over a pop, do they use this stuff or is always private classic car owners? Makes you think?
-
Thats the thing though Jay there is a market for it, admittedly very very small but its there. Yes there are much cheaper alternatives, even at the top of the market. 99.99% of people, including pro detailers would use something else/cheaper - and probably just as good/better, but there are those that want to/can afford to be elitist, and they are the few that do pay those stupid prices. Why would these people buy houses with acres of land, 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms when its just a married couple? - Simple answer, because they can! - And these are the ones that want it applied by their pro detailers too, because anything cheaper just isn't good enough. :undecided:
-
Rolls Royce v Mondeo = no comparison.
Normal car paint respray say £1500
Classic car restoration paint repspray = £20,000 and more
So using a product like this is kind of in proportion
-
My point was missed completely!
Anyone can buy this stuff that's my point, its on a website you pay 8K if you want it and get hold of it.
As for the Top cars over mill well is it the wax, car itself or the detailer or the paint on car, that actually shines?

-
I love my mk3 and i'd use that stuff on mine all day long... :smug:
-
