Title: unknown sensor

Hi guys

Got a 95 golf vr6, can someone tell me what the sensor is for or called thats in the pipe that goes to the heater matrix next to the throttle body?

Need to replace mine as the o ring is leaking but it aint budging.

Any part numbers would be great

I've had a look on my VR6, and i dont have that there. I've had a 94 Corrado VR6 aswell and that did not have it there. I'm Surprised  :shocked:

Bloody typical. I cant get the sensor out and the plastic its in is breaking so need change sensor and pipe but the pipe alone is £ 105 and they're not sure what sensor it is.

And yes my car does have aircon....

Its only on Climatronic equipped cars.
Its an ECT sensor G62, Black 2 pin.

Not to be confused with the ECT sensor G62, Blue 2 pin, used for the ECU  :cool:

What do TPS require to set up an account with them,  im not in the trade anymore but that store in Medway City Estate would be handy?

Many thanks for your help, I gave them a call and they seem to know whats going on now. I think the new one is black with a green band but I'll have to wait to confirm when I get it tomorrow.

Not sure tbh mate, I haven't got an account so I just walk in there and treat me as a cash sale but they are pretty good.

They havent failed to get what I wanted, so far....
