Nice build! I'd be having serious words with the fitters of your air! You've got photographic evidence of it all,so I'd get in touch with them to reimburse you for the scuttle and air line, and grommets and your time taken to fix it all too!
^^ damn right
Keep up the good work dude
Great read and a really nice project :afro:
Absolutely amazing car mate. I too have a black 1.8t and I thought mine was shiny! I'm envious of you and your clay bar! Trip to halfords in the morning for me! Keep up the good work and I hope you sort the leak and get a bit of compo out of them!
I know your pain mate, summer black cars are amazing, winter not so good :) I use poorboys showroom shine, designed for black cars
You sure you didn't use SIC in Portsmouth, cos they're sh!t too?
Nice build thread tho, but wondered why you need a gauge as I thought the switch speed uses pressure signals/level sensors?
Nice write up and build man, can't believe what a bodge of the air those pricks made though .
The Pissrat looks sweet though... :lipsrsealed:
I feel your pain mate. But I didn't get as badly bummed as you did...
First world problems all the way.
Im not usually a fan of aftermarket headlights in general but they look really good and suit the car.

This, seen them on a few mk4s now and quite like them, particularly on a black car.
Great choice with the lights :afro:Yeah i have noticed this, i put them on, and noticed mist inside, wasn't too happy being a brand new light, but it goes eventually, i'll get round to resealing etc one day lol
I've been running them for about a year now, my only gripe with them is that they mist up occasionally so need to be resealed really.
