Title: sump
Post by: Tazzy on 21 June 2012, 19:41: im having an oil change done this weekend as the car has never had one whilst ive owned it

but whilst im at it, im getting the sump resealed as well as ive got a leak

question is, is it a gasket or sealant?

:afro: well worth doing, only going to cost around £12 in parts and could save your engine in the long run.

Post by: cullygti on 22 June 2012, 21:10: in the sump there is an oil pickup pipe its got a filter on it that can get blocked and starve the engine of oil resulting in a seized engine etc so worth getting it changed while the sump is off :smiley:

Go to Skoda and order a S06A115251 pipe and SN0282222 o ring
