The A1 is a nice car mate, good choice
-
 as opposed to a brand new a1 why not get a used a3 tdi for half the price surely you will half the running cost in a derv
-
dont think it will save you much in fuel the a1 i have drinks lots

Don't do anywhere near enough miles to warrant getting a derv. Petrol ftw

the a1 isnt great on fuel
-
ok dude wtf do i know
my wifes got an a3 derv iv got 1.8t hmmm she does less than 2 miles a day less fuel if you do the miles or not
-
Haha not too worried about the fuel as it will prob do the same as the golf it's more the insuring and taxing side of it. Over 3 years I would b looking at close to 3k to insure it and nearly £800 to tax it. That's nearly £4 just to keep it on the road. This way I get a brand new car, get it serviced for 5 years, £30 of tax after the first year, £500 to insure. Win win
Edit: sorry forgot to say the main reason I went for this model/ spec was because of the dsg box. Looked at the rest of the vag range and this seemed to b best of both worlds :nerd:
-
ah now i get what you mean :embarassed: as i said i like the a1 really nice looking car
-
i cant wait till the a1 goes back

As long as your happy with the choice that is all that matters at the end of the day.

Did you have to give a deposit mate? And is it interest free deal. I was looking at some new vag motors leaning towards a sirocco or a audi tt tho. Seen a few they want quite heafty deposit tho so getting on saving
