Title: vr6 help please :(
Post by: off_the_cuff on 14 May 2012, 15:25: so i parked my car up last night r reg vr6, went to go to work this morning and the f***er wont start :S
it turns over but its like the battery is dead, when i turn the key it resets clock on dash then just clicks like a machine gun.
my first thought was the battery but it still does the same thing with a booster pack on :S
any1 got any ideas?

New battery solved mine...does it start on jump leads? (mine always did)

I dont know if its them all but theres 4 on 1 bracket attached to the back of the block (behind cyl 5)

I think the manifold may be in the way, i cant remember i have a stripped engine with no pistons in at the mo :grin:

Post by: off_the_cuff on 15 May 2012, 18:40: i got it running :D i used my booster pack as a battery charger and it fired up lol,
turns out the remote wire for my amp disconnected so it wasnt turning off when the cd player did so it drained my battery.

lesson learned id say lol
