just wondering as i found some old fish tank hosing and fittings but the tee isnt barbed and i got to use it for a boost gauge....... will what i got be ok??
-
I'd get a barbed one, halfrauds sell em for a quid or so. You wouldn't want it popping off all the time!
-
dont think it will pop off tbh as its a vacuum(sucks the pipe).
-
As long as its a tight fit and you put a cable tie round it you should be fine

I know diesels are right? I thought it was the other way for the 1.8T...Oh well, you learn something new everyday.

you can't have vacuum and pressure at the same time

Get some small decent quality jubilees and it will be fine.

Just get a washer tubing one, it will do the job.
