last i looked vodafone had the best prices contracts. not sure if thats still the case.

Got to agree there better off buying the phone out right,and get sim only contract. The best phone out there at the moment is the 4s, simple to use works like a dream also brilliant CS, dont bother with the HTC's because there pile of rubbish :evil:

Dunno what all this nonsense is about buying the phone outright then getting a sim only deal.
I was on a 12 month contract with Vodafone for my iPhone 4 16GB, paid £220 for the phone and £40 a month for the contract. My may makes that £700 over the whole year. My contract consisted of 600 mins, unlimited texts, 500mb data.
Buying an iPhone 4S 16GB now outright is £499, a sim only contract that offers the equivalent is £20.50 (with Vodafone), now my math makes that £745.
Think I was £45 better off.
In all seriousness though, I still have my iPhone 4 and am now on a sim only deal with Vodafone costing me £10.50 a month for 600 minutes, unlimited texts, 500mb data and 0800/0845 numbers included in my minutes.
Now I have a good sim deal I'll buy the iPhone outright. :grin:

Tesco do that deal at 12.50 a mth making it cheaper than taking a contract with a phone not to mention on the 4s you don't rarely get a 12 month contract... So it's not nonsense sim only shady you got a good deal at the time but I pay 15 on 02 and basically unltd and 2gb data worked out cheaper than any other deal I could get with a 4s

That's fair enough mate. It's always going to be different for different people though. I managed to haggle with Vodafone using that TESCO deal, they were very quick to offer me a deal to keep me.
I will run with this deal with Vodafone until I either move to an area that Vodafone doesn't cover very well, or something cheaper comes up, which I don't see happening.

Lol yeh there all a bunch of wanks lol deals change all the time I remember 02 about a yr ago being the cheapest and now there 1 of the dearest... Mind u it helps I get discount of a lot of things I got A brand new 32gb 4s for 440 quid so I did Allright
