hello well trying to get the car running in perfect condition for when i get a proper map the car was mapped before i bought it and dont think its all that good for a few reasons. im not sure weather its the map or other issues on the car causing me problems but i seem to find that theres no power till 3 k litterally non i knew i would have lag but its silly amount and when you get on the boost it then judders around 4.5 5k ish to the red line while the boost is slowly droping from 20 psi and somtimes feels way faster than other times i know its not just me the car really does go slower and faster all by its self haha, cant make my mind up what to go around changing got my own scanner and only faults in it are coolant temp which im gonna replace in a weeks time but what else could be causing me these problems? and oh its a mk4 1.8 turbo agu front mount intercooler, ko3s de cat silicone hoses some random dump valve which came on the car, and pannel piper cross filter so any1s ideas would be great thankyou!

007p if its not a twin piston dump valve which most will tell you to take off anyway..
How big is piping for front mount?
20psi is high for ko3s..
-
ive heard about the 007 before heard there meant to be good like will have to get one.. and there piping.. ermm il put a pick up can think of roughly how big it is in inches.. and really? didnt know it was high it hits just over 20 and drops down to like say 16 17 psi (http://i39.tinypic.com/sovi9v.jpg)

20psi on a k03s with those mods sounds about right to me

Pipework looks fine really, shouldn't be causing you much lag, that dump valve looks like it it will cause problems though.. 007p is fully recirc and will probably solve your problems.. (or baileys dv26 if you like the woosh lol :lipsrsealed:)

mmm could it be the map? thats causing the lag? and also yeah i like the woosh noise ahha :) but it does get abit silly when you try to just drive past your local shops and go pswwwwwwwt! haha and look like a tool :) think ima just save up for the forge one. :)

Have you scanned it for fault codes

yes mate only got a coolant temp sensor fault in, which i dont think would causing these problems but ima change it anyway
-
You would be surprised what a coolant sensor can mess up tbh.

Have you tried the basics like unplugging the MAF (to check if it feels better etc)
start the car and check for air leaks around the silicon hoses on the FMIC piping etc

yeah done that mate and it goes mega slow! ahaha peaking boost at 10 psi and holding around 6 7 ish wont it just be back to standard map again?
