Don't do it. I know where the link is but I am not going to tell you...

I removed all of the 'unessential' hoses and vac lines when I removed my EGR...Basically had a remap the other day and found out that she was overboosting and not holding the boost for the entire range-not good. This could have been due to the fact that I removed all of the valves and hoses. I have plumbed them all back in and need to go and do some logging to find out if this was the cause.

I'd advise against it, just block off the 2 spare hoses, stick a screw in then cable tie it up...

on the other hand I've had no problems since fitting the egr and removing the spare vac pipes

Do you know you haven't got any problems, ie overboost/underboost? What have you removed so far?

What if it causes savage overboost that you aren't aware of?

After removing it all and having the hassle I am having I wish I hadn't, there is only one pro which is that it makes the engine look tidier. If you want to tidy it up you could just cut them all down and make them as long as they need to be and possibly replace with some coloured hoses?

I have a liquid gauge which shows the requested boost vs the actual boost live

And what it your car is still over boosting like f**k now after its all fitted? More than likely a problem else where, N75, actuator or even the map :lipsrsealed:

And just to add that I did the mod before putting the guide together and had no problems with over boosting (or under for that matter)
