i fitted this kit to my R32 seats today took me just over an hour and works a treat bring on them winter mornings and nights hahaha :smiley:

So if I've read properly, Recaros already have the heated elements inside them, but unless you paid for heated seats as an optional extra, VW wouldn't wire them in? :huh:

I read the link you attached, n that's what information I took from it, that Recaros already come with the heated filaments built in (regardless of whether or not your car has heated seats as an extra)! Which is how, I'm guessing, you went about retro fitting the wiring and controls to your seats!? :smiley:

Post by: stace110 on 14 December 2012, 20:42: yeah both dont work , ive popped out one of the switches and there plugged in to a loom but when i went to check the fuse on the side of the dash theres no fuse or connectors for a fuse to go into ...its empty ......what plug/wire do i check ....?
