Title: turborevs side intercooler Vs OEM
Post by: T18:LPR on 04 February 2012, 18:26
looking to upgrade my intercooler for one of the turbo revs side mount units, trying to keep the OEM look but still upgrade.
they seem like a good upgrade for £100, anyone using these with a remap & mods? wondered how they perform as I really dont want to go down the overkill fmic route
thanks
lee

It ran the power fine but it did suffer from heatsoak. If you're not planning on going any further than around 225bhp they will be fine

Went to turbo revs in bolton to look at one a lot smaller than i thought, from pics. Tiny compared to my tyrolsport smic, worth £90 the cost new tho.

Got mine very cheap from through my nephew in the states. I know ain't cheap $750 a lot of cutting make them fit but only 30min job. Vent your arch to if fitting turborev smic give you my vent when fit new vent, mine from bmw M5 lets through lots of air.
