Hi all, fitted my mud flaps today. I think it looks better with them :-)
I will post up a few pics in no particular order. Hope you all like:-)

I personally prefer it without but they do serve a purpose so ETTO, lovely motor though mate!
-
don't like the rear ones but the front ones are very discreet IMO and have saved a lot of crap being flung down the side of my car
-
Without. Flaps are for trucks and tractors.

Well it is a tractor after all :-|

Mud Flaps to me fall into a similar category as cheap plastic covers for your iPhone or leaving plastic on your seats (80's style!). Spoiling the looks just to keep it sliightly cleaner for the next owner? I'm also skeptical on their effectiveness anyway. They'll probably stop the heavy muck hitting your sills, but you can bet the sides and rear of the car will still suck up all the road spray anyway.

Personal preference...is without, but am loving your gtd in general mate...just makes me want mine even more as it's in same colour!

keep your mud flaps
your front wings and doors will love you for it.
also the front ones are barely noticeable. i love mine
-
I guess we all have an opinion. I say leave them off. The first time you scrape them on something you run over or when you park, you'll be taking them off. I like the cleaner look.

Nice GTD.
Flaps are a no no IMO.
-
Mudflaps front and rear = win.
End of

Going back to the GTI/GTD banter days.
Tructor.

I took mine off when I was fitting the rear leveller and the car looked really plain without them, so I put them back on.
Seems to look lower and wider from the back, car looking good..
-
They look great :afro: and will help keep it clean

I'd have to agree with that. The rears are less important and look less discreet. So take 'em off and allow your rear tyres to splatter crap all over the BMW six inches from your rear bumper. :lipsrsealed:

.............x2 they get my vote & the black against the white looks good.

Thanks for your opinions. I was never a fan of them myself but after getting a brand new car I thought it right to give it the best start in life :-).
Tho after seeing them on they look ok
Mh car before the golf without them :-)

I've never really seen it with just the fronts, they look OK although if they tapered more towards the wheel arch at the top i think they'd look better if ya know what i mean??
