I took mine off when I was fitting the rear leveller and the car looked really plain without them, so I put them back on.
Seems to look lower and wider from the back, car looking good..  :cool:

don't like the rear ones but the front ones are very discreet IMO and have saved a lot of crap being flung down the side of my car

I'd have to agree with that. The rears are less important and look less discreet. So take 'em off and allow your rear tyres to splatter crap all over the BMW six inches from your rear bumper.  :lipsrsealed:

Thanks for your opinions. I was never a fan of them myself but after getting a brand new car I thought it right to give it the best start in life :-).
Tho after seeing them on they look ok

Mh car before the golf without them :-)

heres mine with front mud flaps

can't tell me they look bad. they're barely noticeable and tie in with the black plastic side skirts IMO
