agreed, can't wait to get this sh!t day over with, on my own as I'm pi55ed off with the gf so don't want to go to round her mums.
give up my plans of seeing my mates and going to see a couple of people I know in their 70s who have no family so will be on their own, to go round her mums all day and all I get is grief as I wanted to go out for one Christmas drink with my mates without her yesterday, so said can't be ar5ed with it all.
nothing but arguing and greed as normal, all about the bloody presents, where's the Christmas spirit in that?
now got to go there later just to open the presents they have bought me  I don't want bl00dy presents! much rather spend some time with family and friends having a good time without all the fecking bickering.
-
I'm with Chuff on this one, bah bloody humbug!

Well I am stuck in Afghanistan, totally f**ked off if I am honest with you.. Last time I was out here at Xmas I had a poor xmas dinner, this time its even worse.. This is how bad its been...
They cooked 4 Lush looking Turkeys, but instead of serving them, they served up some shocking prepacked turkey that you could have used as a hockey puck...
I had Smash mash.. Couldn't even get potatoes..
No Yorkshire Pudding...
No Peas...
Just some frozen veg and some Stuffing that would be better suited as wall paper paste...
What makes it worse for me is that the one time in the year that the officers are supposed to get together and serve the lads.. NOPE!! We had to go get our own food, our own drinks.. Not even any christmas decs on the table!!
And to make matters worse my internet keeps dropping out and the prom red phones have crashed from so many people trying to use them as they decided to "take the network down for maintenance"... WHO THE f**k DOES THAT ON XMAS DAY!!
Rant over.. Mery Fcuking Xmas.. Get me out of this sh!thole!

Couldn't you find a goat?
When in Rome...

Certain officers do, at least the ones who respect the lads working for them :lipsrsealed:
-

It was an unwritten thing I thought, oh well... Fcuk it.. 3 weeks and I should be home..

I'm not a fan, i find it difficult to be enthusiastic over presents and at the dinner table. I never have liked recieving presents and trying to look over joyed.
Bah, sod it.

If it's any consolation I have had a sickness and sh!tting bug. Thing was the sickness took place mainly on Friday and Sat, was ok-ish yesterday and now I have a special urge to go sit on the pan every 10 minutes. I don't even fancy any of the nice food that's around. Whoop-di-fookin doo.
