Title: any1 else had snow.....MORE SNOWWWWW p4
Post by: daz veedub on 05 December 2011, 14:30: buxtons roads have been a nightmare today got a call of my wife at 9am saying she was stuck on a hill bout a mile from our house then while she was on the fone started screaming saying a car was coming towards her skidding luckily it missed her i had to run down and help her out :smiley: iam now her hero again :grin: :cool:

heres a pic from mine cant wait for kids finish school.....sledging time :cool:

Had the Audi break free on me whilst trying to slow to avoid a crashed lorry this morning :shocked: Fortunately it gripped again before I made contact with the grass verge.

Other than that it ploughed along quite nicely :cool:

Post by: R32UK on 05 December 2011, 19:13: we had a little last night, and then some of the heavy stuff this morning. Managed to settle on the road for a very short while but then the snow turned into sleet. Now it is all gone!

tbh I am really worried as I have started a new job (just today) which requires me to travel to work. This morning i had to get out of bed, hop to my underfloor heated bathroom, then brave the landing to my office across the hall.

If it snows again tomorrow I dont know how I will make it in to work!! :undecided:

No sign of it here in the east although my car kindly informed me that it was 4 degrees coming home this evening :cool: slowly getting there. had a few deicer morning but nothing to write home about :sad:
