 yeahh haha.  Had it in my bookmarks bar as I done it other day.  Need to make sure you get something to tightly fit the alignment gap as I found out the hard way after using a nail it wouldn't go in 5th and made it worse until I did it with a thicker nail

Check the oil quality and level 1st, might be worth changing the oil.

Well in that case I would seek advice from the garage that fitted the clutch, something does not sound right.

My agu was different to this vid.To do mine im sure i undid a 10 or 13mm nut on the gear linkage in the engine bay while out of gear and moved it slightly,it was far easyer than in the vid and quicker. If i get chance tomorrow ill get a picture of what to do as its worth a try...Also the gear linkage bush may be warn as its quite common too(nice cheap fix though if it is).

Just make sure whatever you put in the hole on the inside of the car by the gear knob fits snuggly.

I put an allen key bit it and it wouldn't work.

Use a nail like the guy suggests.

Also my locking mechanism for the shifter on the actual box is absolute crap and takes ages to find.

You can do it.

I did it for crying out loud

my lock on the box was knackered so i did it in neutral, just need to be a bit more careful of knocking when you release the springs
