The green LED for my rear fog on the headlight switch doesn't illuminate.
The rear fog light works, as do the front fog lights and with it's green LED.
I've taken the switch out ok but cannot see how to strip it in order access the LED that's gone.
Can anyone advise preferably with photos as I'm very nervous of snapping/damaging bits of plastic tabs etc.

Just buy another one, loads less hassle and you might cock it up and have to buy another one antway

seems a shame if it just needs an LED . Someone must have taken one apart and know if it can be done reasonably easily.

in case anyone else reading this rushes out and buys a new switch based on this advice.
I've since found out that on pulling out to the second notch (rear fog) the symbol is not meant to go green. Instead, The rear fog being on is indicated by an orange light on the dash

you were asking how to repair the LED in the switch, I was telling you it would be easier to fit a new one. Not my problem if you don't know how the fog light switch illuminates

You're right really but it turns out is wasn't broken. My OP did state in detail the reason why I wanted to take it apart.
Not your fault, I shouldn't have "rolled my eyes" at your response,I know you were doing your best to help.
Thanks anyway
