just got back from picking this up

well its gunna be his new daily but probs will lol, first thing is sort the rust and then a good clean inside and out then let it begin lol, wen we test drove i thort it'd be a good car for a 1.8t conversion.

Not dissing it but I was expecting a RS6 or something with 8 pistons :cool:

would be good lol but as i said its his new daily so needs some mpg lol

Golf grill conversion looks cool, and ABF drops in easy.
Not sure but i think digi will run an abf, someone will confirm or deny in a couple of mins :wink:

yh he wasnt really botherd about vw's until i got my golf n new i think hes as hooked as me lol, got plans for it i'e sortin stuff and maybe wheel change but no talk of engine change yet lol

You can run an abf on k jet though, this is for sure but why you would want to i dont know maybe this is what is confusing me :smiley:

Whish my dad would pick up Mk2 Project car and ditch the Uno GTI (lol i glued my old GTi badge to the back) he leaves his 05 Audi A4 2.0 TDI in the garage all the time and drives the 1.0 uno everywhere


I like the colour but not the wheels :cool:

it is calypso just dosnt look it in the photo, checked the paint code.

nice find dude,i do have a soft spot for the mk2 jetta's  :cool: my dad had the cli-2.0 8v for about 3years then he got the abf,what a car,i loved it.

yh, im startin to fall in love with it, like tha fact that you dont see many any more.

Same thing happened to me, got my golf and my dad suddenly became interested, might be cos these cars were the dogs bollocks when our dads were a bit younger  :tongue:
