You can put them in for as long as you want, there is no set time period. Just make sure you don't melt anything!

I put them in for just over 5 minutes. Pull them out and place a flat head screw driver inbetween the glass and plastic and gently twist.

Yeah don't leave em in too long. I did, and the back has caved in, and I had to get my heat gun to melt and straighten out the brackets. Looks a right mess!

150? I put mine in for 5-10 mins at 50 C, bit of leverage behind the glass and bobs your uncle

I don't know why they need to go in the oven personally. I always just run a Stanley knife around the seal and then gently prise the glass away with a flat head screwdriver. Done this loads of times and Snifferdog can vouch for this as he watched me do his !!!!  Takes seconds and no damage, then just remove the old seal and alls done.

i tried without heat but things started to crunch so i wacked them in the oven at 150 for 1 1/2 mins and they prised off no bother.

If they aren't Hella they may be pattern and can be an arse to split cause the glue is solid.

I've literally undone the clips and just pulled the glass off with my hands before.

Don't you have a spare set of the dual chambers that you were prepared to Joey and then sell Dom ??  Maybe a quicker solution for the op

I used heat gun and you have to keep it all hot at the same time. takes about 3 mins to get it all hot enough.
