..... i wouldnt have had to have done 532 miles in mine on monday driving home to fetch my sons suitcase after unloading the car on holliday. joking aside really cant fualt the little mk2 shes done me proud this week a tottal of 975 miles without a single hicup (apart from being pulled by p.c plod for my "legal pressed metal plates") theres not many 21 year old cars from other companies that would cope with as well as the golf did.

wouldnt mind but you would of thought that after pulling a 21 year old car that was sat on its arse as it was full of lugage, had 3 adults and a child in it, that had "illegal plates" on it he would at least have checked for other defects i.e tyres ect. but nope just issued me with a £60 fine and off he went, what happend to the 14 days grace period to get so called defects sorted? till got to get new plates and have it checked at mot station but seeing as there legal will just pop it in and be on me way.

police are daft these days, came over tonight whilst we were all talking about a friends new car, blamed for noise in a carpark? and all given some sort of asbo which is stupid

Section 59.
Don't get busted again, because if they want they can crush your vehicle.

it's not a section 59, i did ask him about it (thought I was being a cheeky fecker), I already have a section 59 on me and my old car, he told me that it's a kindof warning (this asbo), and that it will go on police computer but won't be down as an offense or anything like that, all we were doing were talking about my friends new polo coupe and they say we've been pipping horns, drifting and wheel spinning :undecided:

if i wheelspan or even attempted drifting, something would fall off, it is a rover after all..
