Title: Random Drives ?
Post by: tech1889 on 17 June 2011, 13:05: Me and a couple of mates have started to do random drives of a evening.. last night we went from Romford Essex to the Millennium stadium in Cardiff.. It was a right laugh and i got back at half 5 this morning.. loads of red bull.. loads of B&H Silver.. and a bag of Colin the caterpillar marshmallows from Marks and Sparks :grin:

Last few weeks we have done the M25 ring.. Leamington spa.. Birmingham.. Swindon.. Walton on the naze..

Does anyone else do this or just me lol ??

yer but i work shifts so if i havent got to be in work till like 3 its fine :wink:

See we used to drive round london but eventually we got bored of sitting in traffic at whatever time of the day :sad:

Fall out of a nightclub at 2ish, get picked up by a mate that had a V12 Jag, from Leicester down to the Smoke in around an hour and 20mins, straight off the M1 on to the Edgeware Rd, and park up at Embankment, and have bacon rolls and coffee from an all night stand, and watch the sunrise over the Thames and Tower bridge, then head home at about 6ish :cool:
One tank of fuel to get down there, and the other to get back!

Post by: JDM82 on 18 June 2011, 10:40: Not really the same but years ago me and my mates used to hire a mini bus, pack a over night bag containing "going out" clothes and put £70 worth of diesel in the tank. Then we drove either north or south til the fuel nearly ran out then it would be find a hotel where ever we were and out clubbing for the nite :grin:

Next morning back in the mini bus and back home :wink:

It was always a great time and not very expensive, you all chip in for the hire and the fuel so it was only £40 or £50 each which isn't bad for the great time you had.

Driving around randomly listening to tunes end up driving down to Brighton as she hasn't been there as shes over from Germany. Cruse down from west London get down there about 2.30am. Chill and Show her what for on the beach :laugh: And head back to london for 6.30.. I only popped out at 10.30 the nite before to say hi with nothing planned. Goood nite!
