Battery in the boot, wires through the chassis rails and inner wings. Have a look on Bespoke Divisions dub rides thread, he's doing some in there.

I got mine from ebay.com, but I was stung on import charges, so try and make sure it's sent as a gift!
I tried to get a few varied ones but ended up finding endless vento fronted ones!

Ah I'm with ya, I've had several different 501 led bulbs from ebay all claiming to be ultra bright and brilliant white but every one has left me disappointed.

They do, but that could be due to the general stance of the car and the way the wheels follow the arches.
It's rare to see anything larger than a 17 on a mk3 because they're almost impossible to fit.
By I suppose they could be... I don't know.

It's a beetle that's had a G3 body dropped onto the floor pan.

bora doing ok apart from finding out today that the front pannel is cracked by hearing the radiaator fan smashing against the alternator. managed to get the rad back in place after alot of swearing.

Because the grill, splitter, skirts, rear valance, wheel centres and engine bay are also black.
The spoiler looks right the way it is!

It's nice to get good responses when u post pics of your own car that's y we do it deep down. I build cars for myself how i like them wether there similar to the crowd or not. It's still mine built how I want it. Even better being that someone had done what I would have before I bought it for a seriously bargain price. Now putting my marks into place.

that PSI tuning MK3 was uber cool, shame its fooked now
wanting 6k for a car thats non mot'd and with a blown engine minus the rims is gonna be hard
was Performance VW car of the year in 2009..
not sure on its condition to this day tho, a lot of filler on that body and its been left stood in a garage for 2 years un touched.. i imagine its not so pretty anymore

I was thinking about getting a set of these after fitting a total closure alarm and a Cult Society smoothed boot handle with hidden lock mechanism. Cabrio has the rear seat release pull behind the boot lid should the alarm stop opening the doors as a back up plan.

there not smoothed doo handles are they? aint then just ones taken from the rear of a 5 door?

I thought they were rears, but the seller claims they are not rears but a later, smoother handle.
Wonder if you could pick up rears and mod them cheaper???
