As in you are boring your block out to 2.0 or putting another engine in?
-
Agg 2.0 bottom end

Plz some1 I need help, I wanna try and get everything ready for the weekend but im still not sure what I need

I think you need to figure it out yourself, to be honest.
There aren't pre-set lists because the parts used vary so much. You need the donor and the existing alongside each other. The one gotcha I think you're going to encounter is likely to be the dizzi - you'll want to use the PB unit, so you'll need the adaptor ring, which I think can be supplied by TSR.
Re-use your head, if it's fit. If it's part of the 'tired old engine' then you really want it skimmed and to be fitted with new valve guides. I don't think going in from cold at this point that you're likely to come out at the start of next week with a running car. :undecided:

Use a 2E dizzy if you can't get hold of an adapter plate. Doing this conversion at the mo.
- Mk3 breather hose setup or blanking plate (TSR do them)
- Mk3 2.0 spark plugs
- Standard clutch is fine but worth replacing if everything is in bits and you don't know the history (in my opinion)
- Engine mounts are probs worth doing while everything is out
-
Nice 1 thanks m8, hows ur1 comin on?
-
Getting there cheers - got the engine in yesterday.

Also who/whats TSF?
It's on this page, but I don't see a clear price, or ability to buy:

or just use the existing breather, rip off the hose and whack a huge nut bolt with a washer either side, worked for me! and i also used normal 1.8 8v spark plugs should i be using 2l ones.......

ur earth...
WHAT?!
Sounds like a crank sensor to me, especially given the position.
-
picture? got to agree with diamond hell crank positioning sensor. "Modern" cars dont have a dizzy.
-
Yeh crank sensor is what I thought 2, as soon as I can work photobucket on my phone I will post pics

for the breather on the block when i did mine i got a pipe from a polo breather system as this was metal. then i cut it down and used a pipercross breather filter on it
